Since joining Drake University and the Delta Rx team, Kathy has worked to coordinate the development of continuing pharmacy education focused on preceptor training.  This process has involved the creation of a new corporation, The Collaborative Education Institute (CEI).  The Institute has resulted from collaboration with the University of Iowa and the Iowa Pharmacy Association and now provides for the management and delivery of newly created preceptor education, along with providing pharmacy education in many other areas.  As part of this new endeavor, Kathy helped design and facilitate the creation of a website to deliver the pharmacy education for CEI in an online format.  Kathy came to Drake with a background in corporate marketing and national account sales and is pleased to be using some of that experience in an academic setting.
