He has authored many publications and presentations on topics ranging from pharmacist compensation, pharmacy education, pharmacy management, and clinical pharmacy services.
Dr. Zgarrick teaches the importance of innovative thinking to students by “using business planning as a tool to help pharmacy students bridge the gap between how they perceive vision and risk as a student, and how that perspective will need to change as pharmacists. Professionals who can evaluate their environments, assess alternatives, and develop and implement plans that strategically balance risks with rewards are well positioned to lead their organizations to success in the future.” Dr. Zgarrick encourages students and other pharmacy practitioners to challenge themselves by exercising entrepreneurial leadership and initiating innovation. |
