The vitals scorecard was developed as a tool to grade student skill in
taking temperature, pulse, respirations, and blood pressure.
Instructors of the Pharmacy Patient Assessment course at Drake
University use this scorecard to enhance feedback to the students and
to provide a more objective way to score this skill. Instructors use
teaching stethoscopes to assess blood pressure. Students are required
to document their findings as they would in a patient chart. |
