The Likert scale question format was used to garner respondent’s perceptions.  The first survey was distributed in 2006 via SurveyMonkey.com to DELTA Rx Institute members, Drake University College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences students and Iowa Pharmacy Association members.  The second survey was distributed via SurveyMonkey.com to DELTA Rx Institute members, Drake University College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences students, preceptors, and Iowa Pharmacy Association members.

Results

Results of the two surveys indicate an increase in agreement with the importance of entrepreneurial leadership and the role of academia, as well as broadened the definition of entrepreneurial leadership.
